The lift sounds were recorded in our favorite stay in Northampton. However the name of the hotel changed (for us it always be the Park Inn) we hope that the lift is still the same. The slightly reverbed woman voice that tells you in a comforting melody that the doors are closing and you should mind them.. then a sudden slight beep that you recognise when you entering the Tardis, you lift off or go down, or sideways (why not sideways).. as Lifts are always an adventure, who knows what you might find when the doors are opening, if at all…
